1/10th Tourer Class rules

 

Batteries:

Any batteries that are currently legal or have previously been legal by the BRCA Electric Board are allowed.


Dimensions:

Minimum Ride height = 5mm
• All cars must have identifying numbers


Tyres:

Any Rubber Tyres Except when using 27t Motor.
• Odourless Tyre Additive Allowed but MUST be wiped off before racing



Race Procedures:

Events will consist of three qualifying rounds of heats of 5 Minutes, with two finals of up to 10 cars for all entrants (also 5 Minutes).
• The maximum number of cars per heat shall be 10 and the minimum for finals is 5.
• After each heat, the competitors in that heat will place their cars & transmitter on the scrutineering table, in their numbered position, and assume assigned marshalling positions for the following heat.

Failure to marshal or provide a competent substitute will result in loss of best time.
• All competitors must remain on their marshalling points until all cars have finished. They can then collect their car and transmitter.
• Heats are to use the staggered start system. Each car will start separately when its number is called. Subsequent rounds will start in FTD order.

Fastest ONE time done in qualifying for grid place.
• Finals will use a grid start and cars are to be spaced at 2m intervals on a staggered grid. Top qualifier is to choose the side of grid.



Pro Stock

19-Turn Super stock motors and 10.5+ Brushless motors with any BRCA Legal Batteries maximum Nominal Voltage 7.4v. 1350g minimum weight.
• Note: NICS 09 will also accept novice entrants into this class using 27-Turn foam tyres. These drivers will be placed into the bottom qualifying heat.



Open Modified

Using any BRCA Legal Motor Brushed or Brushless motor. With any BRCA Legal Batteries maximum Nominal Voltage 7.4v. 1350g minimum weight.


Penalties:

Any driver found breaking any rules will lose all lap scores up to that point.
